Youlden Parkville Cricket Club
Brief: Design Two Posters the first to target women and girl players to sign up to the 2018 season. The second poster was targeted at all players. Later on merchandise was added by the club.
Challenges: The design needed to appeal to a wide audience, as per the general poster design and the women’s/girls needed to stay on brand, as branch of the club.
Goals: Stay on brand and incite brand loyalty and recognition. Bring a youthful approach to the design to appeal to the younger members of the club.
Quirk Factor: I approached the design taking into account the last poster design for the club, which had been designed by staff at the club.
I wanted to bring a fresh, yet familiar and on brand feel to the poster, that would help generate interest in the younger player , I did this by using actual photographs of club players and making them into custom illustration to use on the posters. I wanted to not alienate the mature players at the club, so I used a combination of the brand colours to keep it familiar and cohesive.

KVPS Spanish Festival
Kilberry Valley wanted to hold it’s bi-annual community festival with a Spanish theme to celebrate incorporating Spanish as ESL in the school.
The teacher in charge had created diy promotional material but felt a professional touch would help the festival create a more appealing, engaging vibe and also help promote the festival via social media channels.
Both print and digital promotional materials to advertise the Festival were created. Posters and flyers were handed out in the community and given to the students. Countdown posts were created to remind parents of the Festival date to create anticipation and excitement.

This set of posters was designed to aid primary school children from prep to grade 6 engage and simplify complex Maths instructions.
